Summer is the perfect time to flaunt your beautiful and charming summer dresses as summer is here in full glory. And it is the time to enjoy the delicious seasonal fruits. The summer is the only season in which we have to great take care of our skin because of the heat, warmth of the sun, and blowing hot winds cause severe damage to the skin. Soo we must pay special attention towards our skin and must take care of it. We should adapt skin care routine to take care of our skin according to the different seasons. So you should go for the home remedies which are the use of natural products and do not harm you in any sense.

1. Water therapy

Water is essential for our body. Nothing can work better than water for our body. Our body contains 70% of water in it. Water not only sets out our thirst but also helps to flush out the toxins and waste that is present in our body. You should consume more and more fluids like juices, coconut water, green tea, buttermilk, and the plain water. You must intake such fluids to decrease the heat level in your body and which will keep your body cool and hydrated. Green tea helps to eliminate the dead skin because it is rich in antioxidants and the other properties of green tea such as anti-inflammatory, anti-carcinogenic protect our body against the variety of skin disorders. Such variety of fluids also help to detoxify our skin and keep it soft, clear, and dewy.

2. Food intake

The type of foods you eat is generally seen on your face. You should not consume too much of snacks, and salty items such as salt can have a dehydrating effect on your body so because of which your body gets dehydrated. You should take food items in your diet which contains a high level of water like watermelon, cucumber, oranges, lettuce. These all foods will give you nutrients and anti-oxidants. The green vegetables help to improve the immune system so include the green vegetables in your diet. These vegetables also decrease the stress level of your body. Use the sunscreen after every two hours and try to be at home between 10 AM to 4 PM because at this time the sun rays are very harsh and put an adverse effect on your skin.

4. Exfoliate

Proper exfoliation is the first step to get the glowing skin. The only moisturizer cannot provide your skin that much glow unless it is exfoliated regularly. It is necessary to remove the dead skin which is accumulated on your face and other parts of your body. Use any scrub or massager to remove the dead skin from your face and body. You can even use homemade scrubs for exfoliation. Such scrubs are prepared with oatmeal, milk, and besan. Firmly rub this paste on your face and the entire body in the circular motion for about 3 minutes and then wash it with cool water. Do this activity twice or thrice a week.

5. Cleansing

You should cleanse your skin thoroughly twice a day with a good quality of cleanser. If you have acne prone skin, then you should go for a cucumber and aloe vera gel based cleanser. You can even prepare natural and effective cleanser at home with the natural products. These cleansers not only cleanse your body but also moisturizer your skin. Apply it on your body and leave it for about 10 minutes and then wash it off with cool water.

6. Moisturize

You should always moisturize your body in anyway. You should always opt for water-based moisturizer and apply them to your body to get the soft and smooth skin. When you are straight out of the shower that time is the best time to moisturize your body. You should always use moisturizer at night because it makes your skin glow and also defends your skin for you asleep.

7. Steaming

To open up the clogged pores, you should give your skin the steam therapy once in a week. Steaming helps to remove all the dirt that is accumulated on your skin. Steaming works well for all type of skins, and it helps to make your skin clearer and smooth.

8. Toning

Tonner is the product which moisturizes your skin very well. It also helps to balance the ph level of your skin. It helps to remove all the toxins, dirt, and makeup from your skin and gives the clear and refresh skin. You can even make natural toner at home. The natural toner can be made by mixing glycerine and rose water in the equal amount.

9. Tan

Tanning takes place in summer. You can apply various natural homemade masks or pastes to remove tanning from your body. Such packs will surely bring the glow to your skin.

10. Exercise

Exercise too will help you to remove toxins from your body and will bring a glow to your body.
